Day 26: empty

Day started well. J was off so the morning was nice and relaxed. I'd gone to bed at 9pm and slept till my alarm. I even completed my photo challenge image before 8am. Took the kids to school to get a call to say J's car had conked out in the middle lane of one of the busiest roundabouts in MK at rush hour.

People are hard at times, in the time he was sat there not one person offered to help move it & him from danger and intact a couple of people tooted their horns. L said I was 'a good girl' for rescuing daddy which I suppose it true ;-)

The mechanic looked at it and straight away found the problem. The engine was millimetres from falling out the bottom of the car! Hanging in there sideways on the gear box. He reckons the last garage that worked on it forgot to put the bolts back in so the single one snapped this morning. Waiting to hear of the damage.....

Tomorrow it's sports day at school. This year they've made it into a whole bloody day. I'm working in the evening photographing a charity do so the question is, to risk photographing sports day AND the charity event on 2 batteries, or to sacrifice one for the other.
