Lichen

A post by Into the Hills reminded me of a technique I had given up on as I wasn't being successful.  So I decided to have another go.  Following a simple problem solving route of changing one variable at a time, I picked up a different lens.

I had to wander down to the village recycling centre to dispose of a collection of tin foil.  I decided to take the hand lens and phone with me.  On the way I passed a lichen covered tree, so I decided to have another go.  Success!  All I have to do now is find time to sit down and identify the lichen..
