You CAN have your cake and eat it…..

L enjoying a slice of her birthday cake from yesterday. Both L and friend A surfaced quite late as were both up in the wee small hours.

After the dog walk, I made another pot of soup, this time it was lentil and bacon which the girls all had for lunch.

I picked up the FiL for an afternoon of ten pin bowling at Murrayfield whilst L and A went shopping….again!

Good result in the football today puts my team to the top of the league for the first time in ages. Nothing is won in February and still many twists and turns I fear.
