Industrial Picnic

I am definitely an outside person and like to be out in the fresh air at every opportunity. Today was lovely so I decided to have my lunch out in the back yard. It's not the most scenic of places for a picnic however it beats sitting indoors in the canteen. I do so love a picnic. I would much rather have a lunch box full of lovely treats and be outside surrounded by scenery than be in a posh restaurant in the city for my lunch. Living in Scotland it is not always possible to have an al fresco eating experience and on these occasions we have what my eldest daughter affectionately calls a 'car picnic'.

Had a couple of fantastic classes this morning. I have been steadily putting my weights up in Body Pump over the last few months with the exception of the warm-up track where I have been using 3.5 Kg a side since I first started over a year ago. Decided to take the plunge and add another kilo a side this morning. Should really have just gone up to 5kg a side but I liked having a wee safety in place. Think I will go for it next week though. Made it up to 10kg a side on the back track which I would say is my biggest achievement to date in this class. Was hard going but I made it too the end. I have been beaming with pride in myself all day long.
