Empty…

The room that had become Valerie’s bedroom; the hospital bed taken away. and it’s so strange…In time it will return to being the dining room.

We’ve had time staying with Neil and seeing some of the family yesterday and today. We’re so welcomed which is great as they have lots to do right now and young families to be with but Simon and Chloe gave us a delicious meal last evening and we talked more about Valerie’s Thanksgiving service and shared more great memories.

Sarah took her dad to visit Valerie this morning. Neil said she looked beautiful….

A long journey home with diversions but we think we missed the bulk of Friday traffic on M25 due to one of the diversions. SO grateful that D is happy driving. Big Sis and I do not follow Little Sis’s confidence and competence. I did offer to take over though after Fleet Services.
