This is Bowness Bay looking so peaceful this morning. The sun has just reached the lake and the cloud is clearing from the Fairfield horseshoe. It could be a great day for lake lovers and fell walkers.

For me - well, there's washing to hang on the line, car to hoover out, meals to prepare, hairdressers after lunch and garden pots to stack away. When all that and more is done I might start planning a holiday.
