Valentine’s Day - Ash Wednesday

The former has almost extinguished the latter. When we lived in Poland, Lent and the following 40 days, were strictly observed. In our secular UK society the St Valentine’s Day commercialisation is today’s big deal!
My blip reflects today’s commercialisation but, of course, in a strictly unintentional way! It was wet, but very mild, ad we visited a local aquatic centre researching pond plants for our garden.
