Where has the day gone

It's gone 9pm and I've not even finished the Squaredle. I have made many of those long, long phone calls where you press option numbers and listen to lots of music and got to grips with lots of outstanding paperwork which included finally getting exempt from a Jury Citation, so that's now off my plate. Tomorrow first thing I shall be off to the Council Offices and then to the Job Centre with lots of documentation. I shall also post off lots of the old-type postage stamps to be exchanged, or 'swapped' as they like to call it, for the newer bar code ones.
I made an interesting concoction for lunch of leeks, onions, garlic, spinach and some mashed potato which was left over. I was using up my vegetables before they become a bit iffy, but consuming them I'll probably become a bit 'iffy' myself.
