Why?

Why, when nature has the perfect colours , do people do this ?
I don’t actually know how these colours are produced, I can only guess.. but why?
I spotted these for sale at the station today.
A new woman joined the group today.
She is from Iran and has been in England for 14 years.. and still waiting to be “legal”!! 14 years!! Why??!!!
She has four disabled children and today has two hours for herself….
