and sew on

Such a cold damp miserable day that not only did I take no photos, but Rufus didn't even want to go squirrel hunting and our walk barely lasted half an hour.  By the end of the day, when I finally went to bed at 2.30am, and still having taken no photo, it had to be an update of the embroidery I started on Saturday (here). It's slow going, but there's no rush, no deadline, no purpose other than an enjoyable way to pass the time. 

My evening passed very pleasantly with bro, niece, nephew and his girlfriend Katy, all here for dinner (vegetable korma).  The curry was ok, but the rice was problematic. William made brownies for desert. General conversation led to the decision to have a family movie night on Thursday.
