Today I didn’t take any narcotics. Feel a bit better and have been able to read. I don’t know how people addicted to drugs cope with feeling so horrible all the time.

My pain has been manageable but I’m feeling a bit sore tonight so I’m back on the bed with an ice pack.

We didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day but did acknowledge we are happy with each other. I gave Bob a left over chocolate from Christmas.

Leo came after school. We haven’t seen the kids much as Maddy has been sick with chickenpox.
