Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day to those who celebrate it. We don’t do anything but acknowledge the day. I picked these happy flowers which are sitting on the dresser. At breakfast we decided to go to the movies which is a rare event. We saw “The banshees of Inisherin”. I have spent all day trying to work out what it was all about. Good actors, good photography, terribly depressing. I really don’t like spending my precious hours on earth watching such depression. I’m obviously not a film buff and Bob liked it less than me. Oh must add the animals were cute.
I don’t know much about Irish History so I suppose I know more now than yesterday so if that was the intent of the movie it succeeded.
My knee is improving so I’m going out now for a gentle walk. I still have it strapped (courtesy of a YouTube how to strap knees session). That helps a lot.
Thinking of those having severe weather. Stay safe. I can’t imagine the hell people are going through in Turkey and Syria in the earthquake. We are having nice days here, 24° at the moment with some puffy clouds. The weekend is looking hot.
Our surgery sent a message to say we could book for a Covid booster. I like the way they get onto these things.
