Maps

In the afternoon we went to Lyon & Turnbull at Powderhall to collect maps.  There were six of them, and old frames with glass are heavy. We stopped several times to change hands on the way back ..

A fine sunny day with a cool West wind. Painter visited in the morning to deliver paint samples; I went out to get brushes then put some on the wall opposite the windows in the sunshine. Dithering about a saturated yellow for one wall.
