Panorama

This afternoon we visited Conwy Castle. This is the view from one of the high towers that you can ascend up a spiral staircase.

You may be able to see much of the town walls built along with the castle in the late 1200s, and within one of the towers is a model showing how the town looked way back then (extra 1) That most of the town walls are still intact to walk around is pretty awesome! (Youngest approved - extra 2)

In the right of the panorama is Conwy Road Bridge built in 1958 by William Arrol & Company of Glasgow. We had parked across the far side of the river at a car charger and walked across during which your Gal spotted a nameplate (extra 3)...it turns out the Bandstand Ironwork Foundry of choice contributed their skills to the bridge. Ms.Arell may be aware of this but if she isn't I'm claiming the bonus points as it isn't on the Google Map of surviving examples of their work!

We leave tomorrow morning but all being well, have a stop off planned for tomorrow's blip :-)
