Theatre trip

We went to see a play at the Lyceum in Edinburgh tonight. There was an interesting bit of audience participation at the beginning - asking audience members to write down reflections of their lives at sixteen: what they wore, what music they listened to, who they had a crush on, what they were like. Some of these answers were incorporated into the play - read by young supporting members of the cast (who were local drama students, I think) in the context of the play. The leading actors were good but we felt the plot was a little laboured overall. What do we know though! A visit to the theatre is always a treat even when we don't love what we see.
