Fancy machine embroidery

The drive through to Fife was rather unpleasant with speeding cars and lorries causing more spray on my windscreen than I like.

Some respite in Loch Leven's Larder where we enjoyed a coffee and a wander round the lovely shop. These fancy hair bands caught my attention.

Just as we entered Elie we made a quick left turn and headed to the lighthouse car park and braved the elements to try and get a reasonable photo of the rather spactular waves.

The house was very cold and then we discovered that the pilot light for the heating had gone out. Managed to get it relit and we are now toasty warm.
