Anyone fancy a spot of lunch?

This Herring Gull found the starfish and carried it onto the deck of one of the fishing boats. He toyed with it a bit and then flew off to find something more palatable ..... someone with chips perhaps!

We had to take the slightly longer route to St Andrews owing to the road works on the A917 which is our quick route in and out of Elie. Having to travel on the coastal route gave us the chance for a visit to Pittenweem Harbour.

Late coffee/early lunch in St Andrews, a wander round Waterstones, some food shopping, a visit to the Botanics and then home to watch the end of the Scotland v France rugby match and today's match ended in the same messy way as last week but sadly, not in our favour.
