Rescuing The Rescuer

Spotted on my walk this morning…they were using the winch on the front of crane to haul the ‘support/breakdown vehicle’ onto to the back of the recovery wagon!

This was at the old lay-by exit road…immediately behind the crane is the live southbound carriageway of the A1(M)…

It has rained a lot today..and on top of the snow/rain yesterday this has caused the beck in the village to run high…see extra. The water is almost into the gardens of the properties on the left….I can only imagine that water levels will go up from now…this is what happens when you build houses on a flood plain…
