the tourist trail

After 3 grey mornings there was some blue sky. We needed to be home by 1.30 but had plenty of time for a walk around Grasmere. Couldn't miss this group crossing the bridge - a Japanese coach party judging by their outfits and cameras. Glad we weren't going in the same direction.

At the half way point there was time for a coffee and scone at the garden centre cafe - just to give us some extra energy for the return leg!!!!
