Huntington Beach

Did a lot of things today. I finally submitted resumes and cover letters to a couple of companies. Hopefully, I hear back from the three I contacted, but if not then I have a second list of places I can send my info to. I'll keep my fingers crossed and see what happens.

After I sent my resume, I figured why not go to the bonfire that my friends planned. I went to the grocery store to buy some snacks and then I was on my way to the beach. There were only four friends there when I arrived. Nate and MyThanh were trying to get the fire going, but they were unsuccessful. Mary was writing on boards we were going to use as firewood. She wrote our names in roman letters and in Japanese characters. I decided to bury them and from then on we called them our tombstones.

It was also my neighbor's birthday get together today, so I rushed back home got ready and met another set of friends at CPK. We had pizza and then watched Transformers 2. It was a fun filled action flick. Although I prefer smaller non-blockbuster films, sometimes it's just fun to sit down and watch a whole bunch of things blow up.

It was a fun day. :)
