Bordeaux: A Place of the Past
I've been home a month since yesterday. Bordeaux is slipping away from me and all that I have left to taste it by are canalés and Orangina from Trader Joe's. Since the month I've been home, I have not done much. I've "graduated," but I technically am not done with school yet. As I've been writing in my last few entries, I need to wait until my petitions clear. But first, I need to wait for my grades to be posted on my transcript, which will take another month to another month and a half. The wait is killing me... as well as not having a job yet. Do I need to be more proactive with this job hunt?
Well, I haven't really reflected on my experience about my study abroad program yet? But, I guess a couple questions I want to answer are:
-Have I grown (and I don't mean in the physical sense)?
-What did I get out of my time abroad?
-What have I learned?
-What differences did I notice while being France?
-What happened with the reforms that Sarkozy imposed on the French university system?
