Waiting Game

With the trains once again not running through industrial action I offered friend Steve a lift out to St Michaels Hospital in Hayle. Steve guesstimated a couple of hours including travel.
I set of from home around 8:45 am’ picked Steve up around 9:15 and arrived at Hayle around 10:00 for a 10:15 appointment. Having parked I eventually went inside for a ‘comfort break’ with a coffee and sandwich follow on at around 12:15. We arrived back in Falmouth around 1:00pm, turns out Steve’s “couple of hours” turned into around five, such is life.
Bit of shopping, treats for Paddy and some meals for the coming days.

Missed the town council D Day 80 meeting but will hopefully catch up when the minutes are issued.
