Buds

Did a quick trip to the allotment to feed the blighters, but spent longer than intended due to re-deploying netting over some of the things that might get us through the hungry gap - mostly severely pecked purple sprouting, but also some chard plants which were decimated by the fat bastards but might sprout again. Oh, and I happened across the Asturian Tree Cabbage that Deke kindly gave me last year - I'd forgot about it but it looks quite healthy. A doubly good sign, since last time Dave coincided with him up at the plot he was saying that his horrible cancer was responding well to treatment.
