Blencathra

Having left the chaos of Stafford (rats leaving a sinking ship?) we spent the night with a friend in Storth, leaving on a bright frosty morning for home, before the threatened snowfall traps us in the south.

We did see evidence of light snow around Beattock and some interesting skies but arrived home with no trouble.

With few opportunities for photography, this photo of Blencathra was taken from the car as we drove on the A66, belatedly added to the Wide Wed challenge.
