Fast Friends

Millie got hubby up around 6:00 this morning. I promptly fell back asleep until 8:00. We finished packing all our trip essentials and started completing our trip check list so we can concentrate on last minutes tasks later. As of this moment, our mother has agreed to come with us. Hubby and I will pick her up Thursday afternoon; we want to be on our way early Friday. I went out to search for a blip but wasn’t crazy with what I found. Hubby went to an action packed movie this afternoon, one I would not like. It’s titled, “The Beekeeper”. He saved me some movie popcorn though. I had already agreed to get Brooklyn from school. On the way to her house, she told me about a horse farm near her neighborhood. I had not been on that road before. There were four beautiful regular size horses and one pony in the pasture. These two came to the fence immediately to greet me. I promised them carrots on my next visit. What friendly sweethearts. We still have new leftovers from our DIL for dinner so the evening is free. Hope you can enjoy yours as well. Stay safe. Sending prayers to the UK in response to your sad news about King Charles. Hope he will beat the “C” word. Thanks for visiting and I am especially thankful for your support of my swamp blip. “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” - Winston Churchill
