Hard To Find

Breakfast!!
Todays was organised by the Hayle Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club, the venue in Hayle is know as “The Quay Kitchen” or “The Secret Kitchen”. I’m inclined to go with Secret Kitchen as despite pretty specific directions we couldn’t find it. Fortunately our friends drove past and directed us.
It was worth it although it did bring back long forgotten memories. Pressed together on wooden benches at wooden tables reminded me of the ‘good old days’ aboard HMS Manxman and ‘broadside messing’, it’s one of those; “if you know - you know” type things.

We wizzed round the M&S food hall before dropping our friends home and heading home ourselves for an afternoon/early evening of Six Nations rugby. England squeezed past Italy, Scotland almost snatched a full time defeat from an half time commanding lead.
