Japonica

I think at least that this is japonica. I am always on the look out for a bit of colour at this time of the year and I saw this in a garden in the street above. This morning I had to drive into town twice, first for the market shopping and then a quick turnaround to go to the dentist. He fitted the new crown and then told me that enough bone had regrown since extractions a year ago to have two implants. Unlike the crown, most to the cost for the implants will not be met by the Social Security and the insurance so I had better start saving now! In the afternoon I went to the tennis lesson with the new teacher who is very good, then on to French conversation where we discussed several French novels recommended by one of our number.
