Mimosa

The mimosa is beginning to come out. No doubt I will blip more of it when it is at its best. This morning we had a council meeting to discuss arrangements for the visit of the prospective chaplain who is coming from Portland, Oregon to see us next week. There are still financial issues to sort out but we made the necessary plans for catering and hospitality as well as dealing with other issues. I then collected some paperwork from the president of the painting association so that I could fill in budgetary figures for our request for the annual support grant. I spent the rest of the afternoon struggling with the figures to make everything balance but now the paperwork is ready for submission.
