Went to sewing group this morning. It was a grey and windy day and I felt a bit flat. Called into the supermarket in Beeston as I left and then left the car there and went for a wander around the town as I had time to kill. I lived there for about 5 years in the mid 1990s and this building was once the Barclays bank and a beautiful building. It’s empty now and looks forlorn. There were no empty shops though and I decided I would be happy to live there again.
Drove up the road to SR’s to visit him after his double heart bypass a couple of weeks ago. He is doing well , just tired and some discomfort from the wound. He was well enough to bake cake though! Collecting a cat food order on the way home and then picked up to the pharmacy.
