Morris Minor Traveller

I think it’s a Traveller? In mono as it was grey and little that caught my attention for a blip. I was cycling home from a meeting with the Parish Clerk and a couple of councillors about matters allotment when I spotted the old Morris.

The owner saw me taking a shot so we had a chat about his car. He said was one of the last Minors to come off the production line in (Edit 1972) 1967. Many people have a connection with Minors from some part of their lives. A black Minor, 315 KRB, was my dad’s first car. We rode miles and miles in that car through Shropshire and Wales. Grandad had a Standard 10, TMB 808. Funny how we can remember stuff like this. Dad’s next car was an Escort: PNT 145G. After that it’s a bit hazy. A Vauxhall NAW 621M….
