Above the road

Perched on overhead lines as I finished my walk, this Welcome swallow (Warau in Te Reo) suddenly left, swooping down to zoom over my head. After flying in a figure 8 it returned to its perch and I was able to get this photo. 

That it was little above my head suggests that I had disturbed some tiny insects, and thereby fed the wee Warou, which (judging from the long outer tail streamers is a male. (Posted Tuesday morning, Waitangi Day)
