Mother of God Church
The official name of the church is The Annunciation of the Ever Virgin Mary, Mother of God. It dominates the skyline in Covington, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Its outside towers soar to 200 feet, and its cupola rises to 150 feet. It is an impressive place, well worth the 90 cents it costs us to park.
I put a few more inside and outside pictures of the church on my FLICKR PAGE, along with some of the deer pictures I couldn't load last night.
We pulled into our house at about 4:45 p.m. We ended up driving 1,820 miles total. We're tired, but it was a fun 6 days, and it was a nice wedding.
Also on Flickr...Day 7 of the baby robins. While I took 20 shots...the 3 babies never moved. Like us...tired.
