Sunday ...

... walk at Plainfield Rail Trail.

Today was just as nice as yesterday so we took ourselves off to the Plainfield Rail trail for lovely walk.  We walked a little farther than usual ... going down to see if the horses were out at the farm that's situated along the trail.

And they were.  Both were munching on some hay until I started walking towards them.  Then they both came closer to the edge of the field.  Now ... I'm not going to say they are neglected as they do have a barn and food to eat ... but their winter thick fur was covered in dried mud.  And the thickness of their fur indicates to me that they spend a lot of time outdoors.  However, they are still beautiful animals.

We made two quick stops on our way home and then spent the rest of the day at home.  It was a lovely Sunday spent in the best of company. ♥
