Spectating

For once I was not playing tennis today. I made four pints of chicken soup in the morning and then in the afternoon went out to the courts to watch a friend’s daughter compete in the departmental junior tournament. I had to leave before the end of the match to attend the bell ringing practice and then straight on for a lovely meal with friends in Py. She is a very useful person to know as she is not only a friend, but also the Maire and so has an inside track on all the local events and projects.
