Variations on a Theme

No apologies for yet another crocus blip!   On a very dark, drizzly, low cloud kind of day, phot opportunities have been distinctly limited.  This very shapely form of Crocus sublimis that I brought into the porch, opened in the warmth and won the day.

A quiet day at home apart from a quick trip to collect bisque fired pottery and give the dogs a (damp) walk, it's been an at home day and a fairly lazy one at that.  I've worked on some stoneware daffodil candle holders and this evening will start glazing the pieces that I brought home today.  They'll be a mix of my own glazes and the pottery's glazes.
