Looking rather frazzled

Wanted to sand some boards. These were saved from changes made at the old villa. Last century. Travelled with us to various safe places after we left there. Turned out that paint stripper is what is needed first. Also, the sander expired for some reason; a crack and a spark. So put aside; permanently. That had also come with us from the villa, and not used for a long time.

Late afternoon a walk. A couple of juvenile (I presumed) blackbirds fluttered and hopped on the side of the road. Male blackbird darted across in front of me and then gave me the eye until I moved on; after getting my photo.
