Snoot

Saturday and the sun was shining at breakfast.. sadly the daffs have gone over but couldn't resist this shot of their snoots drooping.. Their last flash of colour before being caught in the beam and removed from their vase.. 

No painkiller day number 1.  So far so good.. still have my big boat boots on and couldn't think of anything tighter being tolerated. 

I emptied the old fridge freezer and populated the new one.. then proceeded to defrost and thoroughly clean out the old ready to be collected tomorrow.  Lucky niece it really is in great order even after 7 years... lots more refrigeration to give!!

Making up for lost time I cleared out the porch of all the coats we have accumulated. Both of us have waved goodbye to a couple each so that will make more room for sure.  

Afternoon of rugby.. Italy vs England.. it was a bit of a rollercoaster and Italy played out of their socks.. so many new young players for the England team.. great to see them coming in 

Made a lovely bowl of soup with some frozen turkey stock made at Christmas.. what a treat.. delicious!

Without the pain killers (and pain) I feel like I have a whole lot to catch up on.. eek.. one step at a time!
