Katie did a half day at nursery today. I picked her up early afternoon and we headed off to the train. We went to meet one other ballet teachers and her little girl. Katie and little miss E had fun playing together and being very cheeky while we sorted a couple of things. I took Katie to get a drink and snack before we heads back on the train.

She had a brilliant swimming lesson. She did her first (and second and third) proper width of actual back stroke, as well as several more with one mini teddy float to work on technique, much I her amusement. She was really proud of herself! They started their class swimming under the water hoop. Mid lesson, Katie reached over the side and brought it back for a few more turns! She doesn't stop in her lesson- when she's waiting for her next turn, she's swimming across their lane over and over, so I wasn't very surprised when she more or less demolished an adult portion of scrambly eggs, beans and toast in the cafeteria. And then got home and asked where her tea was.
