Roll With It

Black & Blue

Sunday and an early start, I was at the boatyard by 7:15 and on the water for 8:00am for the “Racheal Row”. It’s where we improve our technique and core strength, the ‘hold & lean’ at the end of each stroke is a killer but brilliant at building that core strength.
No coffee today but straight home to cook “Dads Scrambled Eggs”, (no difference in taste but Sam doesn’t have to cook them), for Sam before she left for her away match in Plymouth. Mrs S headed to bed before her night shift and Paddy and I headed off for an early walk.

Sam arrived home having been on the wrong side of a 42-0 match, full of high spirits and laughing having thoroughly enjoyed it. Bruised wrist, stud marks in her legs and the beginnings of a black eye. Beaming from ear to ear about a great game.

Next up a home match against Exmouth a week today.

Sam is in the red scrum cap.
