Old man in the ring....

Traa la la la la ....
Another busy one today. Was still busy feeding cows when the lorry arrived in at 8 am to pick up the 30 bullocks for St Boswells mart.
Had them loaded and away by 8.30 so managed to get everything else fed before loading up Littlemiss and the terrier into the land rover and heading off down the road.
By the time we got there the mart staff had got the cattle sorted into their various pens. The two I knew were a wee bit excitable I had warned them about,but it was a different one that jumped a gate and headed off down the pens.
But once it was my turn in the ring they behaved not too badly,and no one got killed,always a bonus !
The trade was quite good with my tops making £1580.
Treated Littlemiss to her lunch in the canteen then headed back up the road to get on with everything else still to be done.
No doubt there will be a stack of bills arrive in the post soon and today's cheque won't last long. Ho hum.....
