Kunafe
I woke to a dull day. Anyone who reads my journal will know how excited we get in this part of the world when there are clouds in the sky. The possibility of rain is welcomed rather than shunned. Anyway, my phone said it was 21degC outside, so I opened all the windows and set to work.
Having a four-day week puts pressure on you, but it also helps you concentrate better and stay focused. The workday passed nicely enough. G left school and attended a "Pastor's meeting at HTC" to represent the Salvation Army. She then went back to school to finish the day before finally coming home to a sandwich prepared by me! The plate didn't look quite as professional as what she produced yesterday.
We finally had our meal at Wokyo with Diane. It was busier today than the first time we ate there, and we've yet to experience dining on their terrace. The food was as delicious as when we ate there the first time. We moved on to a Palestinian restaurant that specialises in Kunafe - a speciality from Nablus in Palestine. A cycling friend of Diane's had recommended it. We were home by 10. :))
