Flower Farm Take 2

It is February! Gosh.

I had a much-needed lie-in, as did G. For a change, I made the morning tea and took a cup into her! It wasn't long before she decided today was the better day to visit the flower farm, so after I hung up the load that I had put on, we went. We had to stop at the DHL counter in Festival City to enquire about sending a document to Cyprus and also to get some lunch. The cost of sending a single document is so prohibitive, G will have to look at other options.

It didn't feel as long to get to the flower farm as it did last year. Having a video call with SweetArt as we drove helped. :))

Last year, we visited on March 1st, and this year, we visited on February 1st. Looking at the pictures from 2024, the lavender certainly looks more vibrant—or, as G says, it is in bloom. It was good to see it again, but being a Saturday, it was busy.

We drove back on a different road, just to see different scenery. The Friday Market in Masafi was buzzing. I don't know what was happening in Dubai, but so many roads around us had long traffic queues, so it took a long time to get home.
