The first of many

The daffodils in my garden are only green shoots at the moment, in Pollok Park there are many, many clumps of green daffie leaves but not a swelling bud to be seen.
Maxwell Park gets first prize for having a few already in flower.

When I was in Pollok earlier in the week carrying in my bag some carrots the youngest calf wanted one but wasn’t sure what do do with it. A breakthrough today ….. a 50p bag of wonky carrots from Morrisons was enjoyed by Alma, Janice and the calf who had found her tongue at last. The cow keepers had come to check on Russell the red bull and helped me with some of the names.
