The O In FOB

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

No Fazzy in the office today, but Olivia. 

I wonder if they take it in turns to babysit me?

It was another very busy day, but quite a rewarding one. I even had an actual meeting with Olivia! I felt useful and people seemed happy. 

And at lunch Olivia and I went out and got a salad. It was the third day in a row when one of the FOBs told me personal stuff about themselves and drew me in closer. I am really so lucky to have these three in my life. They make me feel loved and valued and that's no small thing. 

On a more commercial note, I also found out today that my contract is to be extended until December 20th. That's way longer than I expected, but given the amount of work there is to do on this project, unsurprising I guess. 

I may be here until December 2025 at this rate.

And I daresay you'll see me complain about work and meetings and Agile ceremonies and JIRA tickets for as long as I'm here.

But all of that is insignificant, because of the FOBs.
