7:38 am……

……..taken from the loft bedroom.
A very frosty beginning today.
Another early start before the “team” arrived at 7:30 am.
I went to have my hair trimmed for 9:30am and the car had to be de-iced earlier.
The bathroom is looking good and the new flooring is being laid at the moment. No shower, sink, or toilet yet.
The whole thing is fascinating to see taking place from scratch.
They are such hard workers, and tidy everything so well at the end of the day,
By 10:00am the sun had disappeared and the whole sky is uniformly grey.
We are taking ourselves off out for lunch.
Stephen is going to the dentist’s for a tooth extraction at 16.20. (He broke it the other week.)
So at least he will have a good meal inside him before then!
We’re having his homemade bacon and lentil soup for tea. My favourite,
He cannot have anything for two hours after his procedure.
