Secret snowdrops

I made a detour on one of my walks (two walk day!) to look at the snowdrops in a slightly hidden garden.  The owner had done a bit of excavation to create a path to a compost heap and I wondered how the snowdrops had survived.  There were fewer but they were rather pleasingly banked up.  Snowdrops never photograph well en masse, at least not with an iPhone so I settled for a peek through the bushes shot.

A day in the office, I finished a book submission, a tricky one for me as I know the writer well and she’d love me to pick it up and I don’t want to so I spent ages framing a letter.
Made a soup at lunchtime, one that was quick in the recipe and actually, quick in the execution.

Watched another True Detective which is quite creepy…mostly though I am haunted by the fact they must have had to do months of night shoots…in Iceland.
