Usefulness of yoghurt
An energetic yoga class, admin, Lego (almost finished the rabbits) and conversation with neighbours occupied the morning. The hapless cyclist has been identified, and while most of us have some sympathy there is a general view that they should foot the bill.
A short walk in bright sunshine into Shawlands with the intention of finding somewhere to get the zip on my fleece replaced. I was successful but I won’t get it back until next week. There was an impressive range of ducks in Queens Park including a cluster of tufted ducks, or tappit deuks as I now know they’re called in Scotland. The moorhens were very bold, close enough for me to notice their lime green feet.
The blip includes the Stumpery, an arrangement of logs and stumps with ferns and other shade loving plants dotted through it. All of the wood has come from fallen trees after Storm Babet. Apparently the logs will be painted with yoghurt to encourage growth of lichens and mosses.
