Final Checks

Finally, gentle winds, clear blue skies and sunshine, and a clear night, although breezy. 

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  Most flights out of Shetland were quiet, but everything full on arrivals, Lerwick Up Helly Aa tomorrow.  A couple of delays, mostly all on time.  Popped by Laura's on my way home.  A quiet evening at home, walkies with Sammy, and then early to bed. 

A lovely day to be outside working, and I'm sure it was a fine surprise for visitors arriving in Shetland today.  After the morning check-in desk, I started meeting and boarding flights.  Newbie, Elora (Carter) came to join, getting a refresher in the procedures, although she's fairly caught up with it.  Elora checking over luggage and passenger numbers, before finalising figures with the captain, Josh and Leslie-Wills looking on.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
