Eel Pie sky

Began the day with a fine huevos rancheros brunch courtesy of Brome, which sorted out any whisky side-effects nicely, We were joined by Chris and Tiffany, over from Chicago. 

Weirdly, it didn't feel like the last time we saw Chris was nearly 30 years ago. 

Fortified, we headed out. Some went to see the gothic folly, Strawberry Hill House. Others (specifically Tony and I) went to check out the Jawbone brewery and sample their ales. 

Then we were off to visit Eel Pie Island, en route to eating at the White Swan pub. Comedy night at the Turks Head rounded off the evening very nicely. Being a massive Beatles fan, Chris was delighted to learn that the pub features in A Hard Day's Night.
