Sunday Afternoon Nap

You see, we're not the only ones who take Sunday afternoon naps. Pelicans do, too.

Speaking of naps, I took a short one this afternoon to get ready to watch my Detroit Lions play the S.F 49er's in the NFC Championship game. Sadly, they lost 34-31. Too many mistakes, dropped passes, and missed tackles. But, we did have an awesome year.

In other sports news, a young local girl (Nelly Korda) won the LPGA (golf) tournament today in Bradenton. After leading a lot of the day, with 2 holes left to play, she was 3 shots behind. But an eagle on the 17th and a birdie on the 18th tied her for the lead. She won on the 2nd playoff hole when the other girl 3-putted.

I was upset after finding out about the tournament in the pool on Friday. The course is about 2 miles from the condo, and I probably would have got a 5 day pass. But, you can't go...if you don't know.
